Started in the fall of 2008, Sovereign Catering & Events is a family owned and operated catering and event planning service in Lafayette, Indiana. Through extensive experience in the catering business, we wanted to create a service that was friendly, personable, and most importantly, flexible. We understand how important these special events in your life are and that not all events are the same. We are here to help create the unique experience and atmosphere that will make your event memorable for years to come!

Barbara Huddleston, Owner and Caterer

Barbara Huddleston is a Battle Ground, Indiana native who graduated from Purdue University in 2006, majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She is a wife and mother as well as a highly experienced caterer now residing in West Lafayette, Indiana. Food, wine, and customer service are her passions. With experience in wine, cuisine and hospitality, Barbara wanted to create a catering service that was “the Gold Standard” in catering and event planning by making the client’s dreams for the event a reality.
